Fitting & Coding

For fitting, simply connect both adapters between your car harness and your new lights.
At the car harness end, connect with the black or yellow dot nearest to the harness brown wire.
Secure the connectors in place using the heatshrink tubing provided with a heat gun or hairdryer.

When used to enable the fitting of an aftermarket Facelift LED light, two 6R 50W resistors need to be added to each of the two adapters for them to work properly.
We can do this for you for an extra £10 each, or we will advise where to get them and tell you which wires to attach them to.
You may also get a warning light on the dash.
Alternatively, seek an auto-electrician or Mercedes agent to get them coded.

If you are fitting OEM Facelift LED light, you might have the same issues.
